1. Regret no wheelchair athletes due to the road surface.
2. No seconding allowed.
3. Reflective clothing advisable.
4. 1, 2, 3 or 4 wheel carts or prams which are mechanically or manually operated by participants will not be allowed to participate without special permission from the race organizers and traffic authorities.
5. No animals allowed.
6. iPods are not allowed.

1. The race is run in accordance with the rules of A.S.A and CGA. Athletes indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against all or any actions of whatsoever nature, whatever same may arise out of their participation of the race.
2. Registered athletes, who must be a member of a club affiliated to A.S.A to wear their club colours and 2015 license numbers (front and back).
3. Minimum age of competitors on the day of the race – 15 years for 15km and 10km.
4. Numeric age category ID tags to be worn on the back and front of vest and clearly visible.
5. Proof of age must be produced on request on race day.
6. Temporary licences will be available at the start at an additional cost of R20.00.
7. Temporary licensed athletes to wear plain clothing with the issued temporary license number (front and back).
8. Walkers to comply with international walking rules. Walkers to wear identifying “W”s.
9. Proof of age for prize winners will be required and to be presented before prize giving.
10. Prizes will be withheld until confirmed.
11. Prizes will only be awarded to athletes who fill in ALL the info on the race sticker/tear-off slip.
12. International athletes must provide a clearance letter from their country of origin to the referee in the event of them winning a prize.
