3. Traffic officers and marshals must be obeyed at all times. Failure to comply with any of the rules may lead to disqualification.

General Information
Rules:
1. All the races will be done in accordance with the rules of ASA and AVT.
2. Registered athletes must be a member of a club affiliated to ASA and wear club colours and display their 2016 license numbers on the front and back of their vests.
3. Temporary licenses will be available at an additional cost of R40 for the 10, 21.1 and 32km distances, no temporary licenses are required for the 5km.
4. Temporary licensed athletes must wear plain clothes and pin the temporary licenses on the front of their vests.
5. Competitors taking part in the 21.1km must be 16 years and older and 18 years and older for the 32km.
6. An athlete can be eligible for a prize in his / her age category as well as in the open category.
7. Numerical ID tags must be worn.
8. Acceptable proof of ID must be presented on request.
9. The race referee’s decision is binding and final.
