So the date of entries has been released as 19 October but this year the rules have changed. Make sure you know them and are aware of all of them.
Some highlights:
- Entries: open on the 19 October 2018 and close on 10 December 2018 or once the quota of 25 000 has been reached.
- Date and Time: The race will be run on Sunday, 9 June 2019 starting at 05h30 and finishing at 17h30. The race is run from ‘gun to gun’.
- Entry Fee: South Africa: R600 (19 October 2018 to 10 December 2018)
Foreign athletes (Africa/SADC): R1500 (19 October 2018 to 10 December 2018)
Foreign athletes: R3800 (19 October 2018 to 10 December 2018) - Entry period: Entries open on 19 October 2018 and close on 10 December 2018. There will only be one entry window period for all athletes to enter whether they are former Comrades runners, Novices or Foreign athletes. Max 25 000
- Qualifying times: 42.2km – 4:49:59, 48-50km – 5:49:59, 52 – 54km 6:24:59, 56km 6:44:59,
