This is a question many seasoned runners get all the time. How do you do that? How can I start running?
My best advise, go put your shoes on and get out the door………that is probably the hardest part of it. You can make so many excuses not to do it, believe me I have made allot of them!!!
Once out the door start to run/walk for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. Try 3 times a week and then get up to 3-6 times a week. Run at a conversational pace. You dont have to be fast you just have to get out there an enjoy it. Dont be afraid to walk, allot of runners walk at times nothing wrong with it!!!!!
Once you feel comfortable with your pace and distance why not join a park run for a 5km in your area? Then from there the ditances you can do is as far as your legs, mind and heart is willing to go.
