NO race numbers will be issued on race day for 50km Ultra Marathon & 21.1km events.
Online entries will close on the 11 of September 2015. The 10km entries will close on race day on the 27 September 2015.

After Race: From James & Ethel Grey Park. Melrose. Johannesburg back to the start.
Busses depart from 10h00 until 14h00 (intervals of 30 minutes).
Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and to athletes ONLY.
Bus tickets must be booked with entry at a cost of R40.00 per ticket.

50km Start: Gautrain Station West Street, Centurion.
21.1km & 10km Start: James & Ethel Grey Park, Melrose.
Finish Venue: 50, 21.1, & 10km James & Ethel Grey Park, Melrose
Marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed at all times. Failure to comply with their instructions may lead to immediate disqualification.
NO SECONDING OR VEHICLES ON ROUTES WILL BE ALLOWED. Sufficient refreshment stations will be provided on routes.
Regret no wheelchair athlete’s except for the 10km event.
No blade, cyclist or mechanically operated device allowed in the race.
No 2.3 or 4 wheel carts/prams which are mechanically or manually operated by participants will be permitted to participate without special permission granted. Prams/carts must start at the back of the field.
Refreshment stations will provide Coke and water sachets.
Do your bit to ensure that the race is litter free.
Dispose your water sachets at the recycling bins at the refreshment stations.
Only official and accredited vehicles will be allowed to park at the finish & club hospitality areas.
No ear plugged devices are allowed during the race, excluding hearing aid devices.
The time limits for all events will apply as stipulated under Race Information.
All entrants must be amateurs as defined under ASA rules and according to the restrictions as stipulated under Race Information.
All entrants will participate under the rules of CGA and ASA and it is the athlete’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rules. Please refer to your club or see www.centralgautengathletic
The race committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
The judge’s decision is final.
Proof of age must be presented on request at the race. This is essential for athletes competing for a category prize.
Athletes competing for a category prize must wear official age category ID tags and “W” tags for walkers (front & back of the running vest).
Licensed athletes who do not wear their 2015 license numbers must purchase a temporary license on the day or face disqualifications.
Athletes who participate without buying a race number will be disqualified, will not be entitled to any benefits associated with the race and will be liable for double entry fee charge. Habitual offenders (those who regularly participate without purchasing a race entry) will be called to a CGA disciplinary).
Licensed athletes not wearing their club colours will face disqualification.
No Temporary license for 50km runners.
Athletes are only legible for prizes in the race they have entered.
Objections must be lodged within 30 minutes before or after prize-giving in writing to the chief referee accompanied by R250 which is refundable if the appeal is upheld.
The entry fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Toilet facilities will be available at the start & finish venue.
Fast foods and refreshments on sale at the venue.
No shower facilities at the venue.
It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure that he or she is medically fit and healthy to participate in any of the events.
All entrants must be in possession of a valid 2015 license number which must be worn on the back of the running vest. The race number issued by the organisers must be worn on the front of the running vest.
Foreign athletes must comply with IAAF Rule 4. Part 2 regarding handing over their permits to the organiser.
All used athletes of all events must purchase a temporary license number. This number must be worn on the back of the running vest and the race number issued this is only applicable for the 10km and 21.1km runners.

Tog Bags (At owner’s risk)
Transport for tog bags (50km Ultra Only) will be available at the start to the finish venue at James & Ethel Grey Park, Melrose, free of charge.
Tog bag area will be available at the finish venue.
Gold: 1st 10 men & women Category Winners.
Silver: Sub 3hrs 45 min.
Bronze: To all finishers within cut-off time Sub 6hrs.
