I must confess, I also love these Energy Balls as a pre-run or pre-workout snack…

This can become quite a debated topic – but what to snack on before a run or workout..?!  I avoid the those gels, as they’re just filled with sugar and make my tummy feel horrible after a run.
Bananas are ok, but they tend to repeat on you sometimes – and who wants that during a run?
I often make these little energy balls for my kids – and me! – and these are really quite good to eat before a run or workout. With oats and banana for a sustained release of energy, they’ll fill you up without weighing you down.
